Zesty biscotti, loaded with almonds, pistachios, dried cranberries and raisins. Absolutely delicious with a coffee. There’ll be some for now, and some for festive dunking!

I love the annual rituals of Christmas baking. I’ve made the cake, there are some ‘normal’ mince pies in the freezer, and the next goodies to be stored away are these Viennese mince pies. Delish!

I’m very happy to have had my big city fix today, courtesy of an excellent trip to London. But I was equally happy to get the train back home to smalltownsville late this afternoon. Sometimes, I can hardly believe I used to live there.
