🧶 Oh, I've had the nicest day of museums and gardens and wandering around. I took a quick knitting break by a sculpture made by a favorite artist.

🧶 And we are done! It's a perfect snug fit, so I am hoping that I can coax a little extra ease with another blocking. The yarn isn't actually as rough as I thought, so I could wear it without a long sleeved layer underneath.

🧶 Well, there's good news and bad news. Good news is that all four raglan seams (and a surprise short back neck seam) went together neatly, and the cardigan looks great. The bad news is that it is a tighter fit than I want, especially for something I'll need to use as outerwear. #knitsky #knitting

🧶 Hmmmm. It's going to go slowly, I see: the yarn is pretty loosely spun and the panels I'm seaming are tightly knit, so the yarn breaks after a few inches of seaming. Maybe if I use shorter lengths? IDK.

🧶 A very soft sweater-in-progress and a very soft doggo. I do feel like this sweater is maybe violating the laws of physics somehow, as I have been knitting it forever but it does not seem to get any larger? 🤔

🧶 I have two chunky knit projects that are waiting patiently for just a bit of finishing work. This one is a lap blanket made from very special yarn-a family friend used to keep sheep, and this is yarn from their wool that I've had stored away for ~25 years?

🧶 Good morning #knitsky! I did some swatching yesterday, and today I think I'm going to cast on yet another WIP. My LYS is doing a knitalong for summer tops, and I am choosing between Navelli and Hipster Top. (I'm leaning heavily toward Hipster Top, but curious to hear what y'all think!)

🧶 Some days turn out to be for un-knitting, and that's satisfying too. This was a sweater that I loved making, loved the final results, won an award(!), but ... I never wore it? I'm excited to have the gorgeous yarn back for something new.
