Blue, AKA Pupster, Puppy Dogster, Pupparoo, Mister, and when he is giving us the fancy paws with the serious look, Chairman of the Board (always feel like he’s called me in to discuss my performance this quarter).

“Roasted” veggies FTW. Toss cubed potato, beet, squash - whatever you have with a tiny amt of oil and salt and pepper. Taste just like a real Sunday Roast accompaniment. Also, bone in chicken thighs crisp up and are fabulous. Shocked at how much the two of us use ours now the kids are gone.

This is a genius level idea. You can be done for the day.

Actual conversation with our vet: “I am a little concerned because he eats random stuff in the bush when he is out for a walk, and then later is very gassy and uncomfortable.” “That’s going to happen. He is a Lab!”

That Alt text is a thing of beauty. 😄

Such an oddly specific experience to share! I spent a lovely weekend with my sister-in-law doing exactly this. She was completely blown away. It’s a gateway app. We have a hard cover bird book in the bathroom now. Firmly on my way to being a weird bird person, and I am here for it!

Wait, what? Being sick means you can’t get coverage anymore? (Canadian again - legitimately baffled and asking honestly).

Literally my conversation with my spouse this evening. “I could never say this to anyone but you.”

This is just the best! What a happiness-inducing shot!

Watched it last week. Loved it. The nun in the corridor felt like an excellent example of Chekhov’s gun. Also, we are closing in on the end of our Canadian election cycle, so I was very down with the drama of the balloting.

And unfortunately with the 51st state nonsense continuing, I don’t see that changing. I feel fiercely Canadian right now. Emphasis on the “fierce.”

So powerful. I do not have ADHD but two people I love very much do. This helps me understand better. Thank you for your honesty and vulnerability. 📌

This scene lives rent free in my brain “They’re hitting the ground like sacks of wet
cement!” 😂
