Six of the FLY GIRLS have been acquired by the National Museum of the US Air Force at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio; and will be in their new WWII WASP Exhibition opening March 3.

I’ve been working on finding ways to Hold Space during these challenging times. This work started chaotic, over a year ago. Finding ways to soften —on and off the panel.

There are those who stop to take pictures on hikes and those who just blow on by.

The kids are alright.

I spoke to 200 6th graders from Ft Campbell schools yesterday about advocacy and how the WASPS fought for veteran status for 35 years. Over half the kids have a mom or sister in the Army. Smart kids, spot-on questions. ❤️(FLY GIRLS exhibit at the Customs House Museum).

We need these stories, now more than ever. This morning I’m speaking to school groups touring the Customs House Museum and my FLY GIRLS WWII WASPS exhibit. It took courage for women, in 1942, to break barriers & join the military. It took 30 years for them to be recognized and get veteran status.
