It's a great supplement! I'm sure your friends will appreciate the help. Protein shakes are good too, in a pinch. Most have about 20 g per serving (close to half of what most of us need daily).

Pasta will be your best bet (most are vegan). I'm a veg head and can verify that it takes a lot of extra work and planning. This recipe from Canadian Living is fab, a total go-to. In fact, the mag often has lots of great vegetarian and vegan options.
