Absolutely fucking lunacy for settlers to uncritically yell about immigration when their ancestors showed up to unceded land when you could just get on a boat and decide to live here. We can talk about the failure of infrastructure, for example, but JFC.

It is my fundamental belief that a lot of long-time homeowners don't think of renters as people in their community.

Listen, Janet, I pay more in property tax than you do because I live in a rental (not capped) where you've been in the same house since 1980 (capped, so very capped).

Do you think anti-vax sentiment has only been a problem for the last 5 years?

I live in fear of the day when my car kicks it because I won’t be able to find something of a similar tiny size.

Houses here of about that size are around $600k.

It’s actually spent most of its life as a car for commuting in northern NB in the winter, all weather, to the hospital and this is why I know most people’s claims about needing X large vehicle for driving in the winter are bullshit.

I just don’t like having to deal with large vehicles of any kind in the narrow streets of the city! I drive a sub-compact which oh boy lots of people sure had an opinion on when I bought it in 2017, but it’s an appropriate car for daily driving in the city.
