Would you say you also have MCAS? The symptoms are so similar. But my allergist is saying nope you just have the HAT gene

So the pro-tryptase is being released too with the tryptase? The pro-tryptase is a zymogen. I wonder if they know how to stop it?

Thank you so much! Going to try gastrochrom and going to test for mastocytosis just in case. I’ll keep reading your blog, it’s very helpful. I’m not used to having these types of reactions to the things I have eaten for so long. Something switched “on” for me.

I am reading your blog. Thank you so much for sharing your journey. I am for the first time in my life realizing that my newly found HaT gene has affected me and it’s really flaring right now. My allergist doesn’t buy into the MCAS diagnosis so I will be investigating more.
