Really? I've not seen any locally, but certainly possible to pick up hot cross buns while checking out the various international options for Christmas cakes.

Hot cross buns?!?!? Like we need Easter and Christmas at the same/late/early/whatever time.

I greeted my old cat very regularly with 'what's new, pussycat', and my dad supplied the correct following line without prompting - not Welsh!

I don't know that all of that is necessary, but one of the lies that I have heard is that things can't be *that* bad otherwise they would leave, with no recognition of reasons why people don't choose to stay but face paralysis when it comes to leaving.

I think both issues can co-exist.

Is it possible to adjust cooking times/temperature to use 1lb tins?

Why does he get so much air time? Why more than similarly small parties? Why more than larger parties? This isn't public interest - real problems need real solutions, not whipping up hatred. The real problem is why people need to leave homelands they might not want to leave but have no choice.

This is like job interviews when you read up on the company, have facts at your fingertips, but no idea how you're supposed to demonstrate this. (10, 20 years later, apparently it's supposed to be in the questions you're supposed to ask - you link your research to the questions you don't know to ask

How does knowing how you're expected to answer affect outcome? I always felt that I was told to revise lots - it's all about your revision timetable (without being told how), with no explanation of how you share what you know. Result? Lower exam results than I *should* have got (based on other facto

Will they discover that not earning enough to save enough could be a factor? If you put 10% of wages into a pension, but wages are tiny, the pension pot will be tiny, not to mention that it wages are tiny, the likelihood it's not possible to pay in as much as 5% or 1% is higher.

I got a leaflet from the local Reform candidate and it says nothing. "I love the local area esp the green belt; Tories and Labour destroyed everything; stop the boats, I want cuts and lower taxes." No indication what he thinks the council should do or what he would do as councillor.

This may be far from being the whole story but still an interesting observation on how not everyone is affected equally by the same things.

A reporter went from one area to another and commented that in the wealthier areas there are fewer houses on each road cos they're bigger, there are fewer people in each house so less rubbish, and more cars per house so occupants can take rubbish away.

Surely being alone is better than being with a man who wants subservience - no learning required to come to this conclusion. It's these men who will have to learn that wholesale female aloneness will result in aloneness for many men... I wonder which ones...

Maybe it's a family tradition. Some people like apple sauce with pork, maybe some families prefer appliness with beef? Maybe like an apple stuffing-Yorkshire pudding hybrid?

It seems a bit narrow, but OK. Why do we allow any companies at all to make donations to political parties or politicians? Even if there is no intention to influence the recipient, it can look rather dodgy in some cases.

Aren't the sacking and having the visa revoked kind of linked? True, I don't know anything about the US, but in the UK, surely having a visa to work in a job and having a job that necessitates a visa linked a teensy bit? Being sacked and not being allowed to work in a different job are not surprise

If Europe's not in it, surely that means that Ukraine and Russia aren't allowed to participate? Either the US has no concept of geography, or - well - continuing with that thought is too scary.

Well if horses can measured in hands, why shouldn't other animals be measured in clock units? Presumably some are measured in hours and others in minutes...

I've had some really weird follows given that I don't post (just occasionally reply) - follow-backs I can understand, random follows I can't.

I've heard of NHS dentists... I haven't had one since I was dumped without warning by mine for not making an appt within 12 (or maybe 6!) months. The practice had changed hands and previously they told you when you needed to do this - no notice I should do it, no appt made, no warning when dropped.
