My book will be published in a couple of days -
“Amidst the climate disaster, in I, bird Róisín dares us to find solace in roots, trees, and birds, to find communion in and with wilderness, pouring 'the water of vowels' into our mouths, fulfilling her poetic interest in 'what has been carved out.”

Lurgy keeps promising to lift then comes back like a tsunami.

I'm a stress oversharer! Been a lot of that in your life lately, you ask? There has but I've got, in contradiction, solace in music and trees and friends and stuff like that.

what a fine poem from Patrick Cotter indeed.

In light of the Irish government's appalling record in addressing homelessness, a powerful poem from Patrick Cotter's excellent new collection Quality Control at the Miracle Factory: #Poetry #QualityControlattheMiracleFactory #PatrickCotter

Dad died August this year. Brightest morning star I had ever seen was out. If I was to believe it would be in this. I wrote a poem prior to his death regarding the inevitable, the wind down, in which he is a metaphorical star. Sounds corny, but it's prob my best received poem. 👇 Morn Moon. Hi Dad!

Sometimes a golden oldie is needed. Although with various big looming changes, I'm chicken shit, not uplifted. But I'm a drama queen when it comes to stepping out of comfort zones. Apparantly, contrary to what their job interviews would lead you to believe 😁, a lot of people ARE flaky around change👇

Is fiction or poetry preferrable to write?

I dunno, but I'm reminded of a recent poetry workshop where I got a little tetchy. Whereas you could probably tell me to include flying pigs in fiction and I'd be down with it in the moment.
