As my first job after graduating, I worked in the Charing Cross Rd branch of a rapidly expanding bookshop chain. When the question came up 'Where is the best place to open a good bookshop?', the manager's answer was 'Opposite W.H.Smith.'

Hard to believe that a Labour government is going ahead with giving our health data to Palantir. Madness. Even more so after just being told that an X-ray I've had taken can't be shown to me or the physiotherapist I am due to see because of 'data protection'. Maybe Peter Thiel is allowed to see it.

Why I stopped subscribing. That and all the Blue Labour stuff. Assumed they had some contracts they couldn't extricate themselves from. Obviously hasn't changed in months since. Shame - was really lively for a while.
