This last one is definitely worth watching. Catherine Bell in a melo, holiday movie with 3 couples in different eras celebrating in the same house? Hits all the right Christmas notes. If I was capable of crying, I'd have tears in my eyes.

I lied, I'mma do one more cause I saw this one with the actor who played Josh in Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.

Melanin wins again! Chad Michael Murray is falling back to third place as Mishael's movie ties with Milian's at 8.5/10.

Oh no, I was wrong. Only one of the men is emotionally available, and guess what? It's not the ex she's reunited with.

The most unbelievable part of this movie is two 30 years+ emotionally available men that don't mind doing mundane things for dates, and don't need to know where the MC is all the time.

Couldn't find another 2024 Christmas rom-com that looked interesting, so going with one from last year. Stars Mishael Morgan? Don't recognize any of the cast sadly, but it is another one with melanin.

I've been crocheting as I watch these movies, and I was going to take a break, but I just noticed an egregious mistake back at row 2, (am currently on row 14) so frogging and choosing one more movie.

Christina Milian movie the best of the 3 so far. Definitely, 8.5/10. I would have liked it even without Pentatonix, but they didn't hurt at all.
December 15, 2024 at 6:37 PM
Ok, putting some melanin into my line-up with a new Christina Milian (and Pentatonix, apparently).

I liked the Chad Michael Murray one, solid 7.5/10.

The Lohan movie didn't hit as well & can't really put my finger on why, cause it was less hallmark-y than the CMM, so that should have been a plus. Anyways it's a 6/10.

Ok, so I took a bio break and didn't pause. Came back to Lohan's character high in church, starting the story of Je*us' birth as: a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away. Then quoting Cool & the Gang, so yeah.
