Every dog I've given it to had visible improvements in general wellbeing/activity levels when changed to something else. My niece is a vet nurse & trainer and wouldn't have her dogs on anything other than raw meat diet. As long as it's a premium brand & not supermarket junk I'm sure you'll be fine

I would never ever feed Science Diet, but Iams seems pretty good (from experience of feeding shelter dogs with whatever happens to be donated, and also friends feedback on both brands)

I just wanted to keep him on a more meat based diet, and avoid things their bodies can't process ie: corn. They have a premium range Orijen, but the higher protein can cause problems over time. I noticed a huge difference in his energy levels, and general wellbeing when switching between brands.

My boy is no longer here, but I wanted grain free for him back then. I had him on Acana light & fit - but they have heaps of flavour, made with real meat, good ingredients, AAFCO approved.
