And it’s hard to crowd fund a company that needs literally a billion dollars to get off the ground. Maybe we should boycott it because the Dodgers owner is also an investor? I’d be ok with that.

I don’t think they are necessarily trying to distance themselves he is an investor but not the only investor- the media is pushing the Bezos angle to get clicks.

Well in an ivory tower that’s possible. If you’re trying to get a company that needs hundreds of millions of dollars to get off the ground it’s not so easy.

I’m not even saying you shouldnt buy a rivian. Making a new vehicle is capital intensive and needs gobs of money. The CEO and chief designer are women and they are trying to bring small simple vehicles to people. Just because bezos threw a few bucks at it doesn’t make it his company.

What are you talking about- amazon was a main backer of Rivian and their delivery vans are made by rivian.

This is a company Bezos invested a little of his money in but it wasn’t started by him and it’s not run by him! I wish the news would quit acting like it was his company. They have lots of investors because building a vehicle is insanely capital intensive. Women are running this company!
