So I went mega light and fruity bc 1)it was just beauj nouv day, and 2)the mix sounded least offensive to me

He also 100% had a left sided stroke. Look at him leaning hard left onto that poor woman. He doesn't swing his right arm, and he doesn't dorsiflex his right foot because he has foot drop and is only able to walk at all bc he has an AFO. I was an OT in my former life. Seen this many times

Honestly, I have no idea. I never made it or participated in making it. They definitely weren't fresh oysters--this was central IL. Always canned oysters. And def not squid ink, since that is far too exotic for small town IL in the 70s and 80s. I should ask my mom!

My family has always made oyster stuffing. It's black--like coal black. It doesn't look like it should be food. My husband was horrified to learn about this when he attended his first Thksgiving with my family. I actually don't mind it, but I'm choosing to let the tradition die with me. Mercifully
