Gaming Nerd/Square Enix Diehard - fan of PlayStation, JRPGs and even Call of Duty! Always looking for new games to try and try my best to document my thoughts here!
Oh 100%! The 60fps and minimap on screen have already made a huge difference in the experience, and I’ll make sure I’m not missing any other essentials.

But I’m enjoying the game even though I’m still getting used to it.

I love RDR2 with all of my heart but I haven’t played it since its release so I don’t remember side quests that left an impact on me like this one.

I really want to replay it next year and I hope that I’m wrong.

I would go insane if I played that many long JPRGs in succession. Hope you push through metaphor! I hope to start it soon

Suicide squad is the cost of a happy meal and i still can’t bring myself to play it

Same! We wouldn’t have gotten rebirths combat if people were so insistent on any FF7 remake needing to have turn based combat, and now it’s beloved.

I also love when the combat is supported by the world building, makes it feel more unique

I’m sure people thought they couldn’t go anywhere else with the combat after FF6, FF7 or FF10. The GF system came right after the materia system.

They already have games with those artstyles and I wouldn’t want an FF similar to their other games.

That’s not what FF is though, the series has never been afraid to abandon beloved gameplay and story systems and there’s no reason it should change now.

Revisiting 7 after playing 1-6 for the first time and yeah, anyone who says that 7 was never bashed when it came out for “not being a real FF” is wrong. It’s such a departure from the series up to that point in so many ways.

I'm gonna dust off my MP3 disc for my wii playthrough and make you proud

I’ll just stick to my local files on Spotify, it’s baffling that Nintendo thinks this type of service deserves an extra monthly charge.
