We got about 2 in of snow today. Thankfully I now have a job which allows me to work from home in inclement weather.
Anyway, this also allowed me to throw Lily in the snow after work.

Mom had a major surgery yesterday to fix a hernia. Her stomach was literally completely in her chest cavity pressing against her lungs and heart. Cardiac surgeon had to remove her abdominal organs, staple her stomach in the correct place, and fix the hernia with mesh. Thankfully, she’s doing well.

Finished my first week of work for the state. Love the job and everyone I work with. So much more relaxed. Now I have an extended weekend since I don’t go back in until Tuesday.

Broke down and bought a new computer. Wanted primarily a laptop that I could game and also work on with the number pad on the side (since I use that a lot for work). Settled on a Lenovo. Just got it today but so far I really like it. The colors on it are gorgeous.

Also, happy #Caturday. We have the return of Scarface. Lily got in an altercation with my brother’s cat, Loki (in the second picture). Apparently they both wanted in the same window. She’s fine, she just likes collecting battle scars on her nose.
