The name Bakiribu waridza derives from Kariri words: bakiribú (“comb”) and waridzá (“mouth”), referring to the animal’s comb-like dentition. The name also honors the Indigenous peoples native to the Araripe region, Brazil.

But behind this scientific richness lies a complex story.
Almost half of all holotypes (the specimens used to describe species) are kept in foreign institutions, outside Brazil. And even those preserved within the country are mostly kept away from their region of origin.
Three circular charts summarizing the provenance and institutional distribution of fossil macroinvertebrate holotypes from the Santana Group. (A) Global distribution of holotypes: Brazil holds 54% of all specimens. Germany (18.6%), USA (17.1%), France (3.1%), Japan (2.4%), and smaller proportions from Italy, UK, Russia, Poland, Spain, and Canada collectively hold the remainder. A small portion (1.8%) is of unknown origin. (B) Foreign institutions housing Santana Group holotypes: The American Museum of Natural History (AMNH) holds 31.4%, followed by the Staatliches Museum für Naturkunde Stuttgart (SMNS, 29.2%), Muséum National d’Histoire Naturelle (MNHN, 4.9%), and smaller shares in WDC, SMNK, KMNH, PC-MS, and MfN-B. (C) Brazilian institutions: MN houses 24.2%, followed by MZUSP, 16.7%, the Instituto de Geociências da USP, 10.6%, Universidade de Guarulhos, 10.6%, and smaller collections in MPPCN and UFABC 5.3% each.

The specimen you posted is not a Dastilbe elongatus.
D. elongatus is actually the one shown in the photos I’m sending. You can see the clear differences in morphology.
I don’t know exactly which species yours is, but it’s definitely not from the Araripe.

We trace the origin of air sacs in pterosaurs back to their Triassic forerunners. Using micro-CT on the pterosauromorph Venetoraptor, we show invasive air sacs were in place before true pterosaurs.
