Historians and academics, I’m headed to the archives for the first time in a while. What are the best apps for scanning and organizing? Currently trying to figure out Scanner Pro, Zortero, and maybe Obsidian. Thoughts?? TIA!

Taking a photography course at my CC. Hoping the experience of being a student again in a subject I know so little about will help me become a better professor. But also nervous. The fact that it’s an 8am and I teach after doesn’t help 😅

Losing sleep stressing about the upcoming semester. It’ll be fine once it starts, and in the grand scheme this is not an overly stressful job, but for now I am not looking forward to it. Really wish I could get excited instead of dreading what’s to come.

Had ticket to MusicFest (Steamboat). Gave up ticket to MusicFest. Was the right financial and safety decision (Louisiana lady driving solo on wintery mountain roads?! 😬) but damn it hurts not to be there. Escaping my little city for music is what keeps me going. Just not this week 😭
