At some point I learned that rice flour takes longer to fully absorb water compared to other flours. Now, I make my dough for cookie recipes and put it in the fridge overnight. My cookies have never been better!

I once experienced an Uber driver offering a one-sided retelling of what basically could have been a One Life to Live-level tale involving a cheating spouse, a backpack full of cash, and throwing of personal belongings over a four-story balcony. Glad you made it safe despite the full chatter!

That is a very restorative insight. It’s the memories of the past that hang me up. Lots of “how could you be the person who raised me (insert incredible lessons about justice that I learned) AND be this person today who is a total unknown with none of my values?” This helps.
