Just to be clear you can type it manually but what's the point of the datepicker if you can't use it.

Also, only have 2 Windows machines and they've done fine without being part of a domain thus far. There's not much benefit to be gained from centralising Windows auth and user profiles just yet. (Might feel differently once the kids have their own machines?)

Gave up on the idea of getting Samba working in a container as it:
* Requires a lot of pre-install setup (mostly non-standard Docker networking)
* Relies on a relatively unknown GitHub repo with a lot of custom bash scripting and Dockerfile. Won't have as much scrutiny and testing as something
