I honestly feel like all neurodivergents need at least a one-month-long sabbatical exclusively of laying horizontally each year in order to recover properly but the problem is capitalism makes it so we never make "month long sabbatical" money to keep us healthy.

My old lady cat is dying. Her sister passed a few days after my birthday in December and she has been declining ever since. I got a new cat... 2 actually and they definitely helped but 15 years is catching up to her. I am not ready to let go. She feels like a tether to a simpler time.

I do really enjoy this job despite some of the insanely awful things I see (animal cruelty, severe injuries etc.) I only work 4 days a week which is great also but I am full time so my days are always 10 hour shifts and I don't think I will ever get used to that.

After the shit show that was Thursday at work in cat intake (I was by myself and 18 cats came in an hour before close. I cried.) Its nice just being in cat rooms today. Its quiet and no cats are available so I dont have to do socials.
