The article says it's available on "Excel for Microsoft 365, Excel for Microsoft 365 for Mac, Excel for the web, Microsoft Office"

Thankfully the man didn't pull the trigger and my friends were able to turn around, and they did find the party.

The party itself was great. Table tennis, karaoke, and Halo on a big projector on the side of the house.

"To protect sensitive information, you should:

a) tell the first person you see
b) write it on a paper airplane and throw it into a crowded atrium
c) tweet it

Yeah, I kicked this thread off mostly to make a joke, and I agree with your take about the likely internal debate about how to continue the franchise.

Yeah, I'm honestly shocked anyone involved in Bond imagined they were making a series with singular continuity around a completely consistent individual. That's just... not a defensible position based on the stories as they exist today.

Also, someone who claims to be Christian saying "What are you talking about?" to a reference to Christ's demand to love your neighbor as you love yourself is WILD. That message from Christ is literally his answer to "what is the most important commandment of God?"

Yeah, you don't have to accept works-based salvation to believe works are important. Even if they're not necessary preconditions for salvation, they are evidence as fruits of the spirit that sanctification is happening; that you are changed and becoming more Christ-like accepting him as your savior.

Ugh, moderation *approach*, not "moderation about"

My kingdom for an edit button

I might call Mastodon's moderation about "feudal moderation," where users are subject to the moderation choices of their "landowner" (server operator).

I'd announced it last week when it came out for ACM Queue subscribers, but now it's out for everyone!
Exciting personal news! An article of mine is in the ACM Queue!

"Memory Safety for Skeptics" argues for pursuing memory safety, with or without Rust, including when to do it, how to decide it's worth it, and how to do it effectively!
