I remember what Biden said about the decapitated babies and how he had to walk that back, so not at all surprised by this statement.

When an Israeli source says they saw beheaded babies you have to believe them and "stand with Israel" but when a hospital in Gaza is blown up in a fashion only one side is able to then be sure to wait for independent verification. importantly you have to wait so long that the news cycle has passed.

Hope is less useful than being honest about Israel's role in creating the circumstances that will result in increased hate crimes around the world. The attacks on Palestinians are bad enough. The celebration of Palestinian suffering is polarizing the world against Israel. I hope Israel is ready.
