You wouldn’t put a literal 18 month old in a school classroom, so why these children? I’m sick of provision panels saying “they need to try and see how they get on”. These people need to come and spend time in classrooms. I bet they wouldn’t put their own child/grandchild in that position.

You can have SEND inclusive mainstream education, or you can have 90% Y1 phonics screening target. You can’t have both.
