Woke AF, lefty, scientist (immunologist), mum to two humans and two cats.
The “great” universities here have always been beholden to the rich political class, whilst the institutions that provide most of the working population are always scrambling for funding.

Interesting results from the BBC survey from earlier this year.
Quite the gap in how people view the BBC’s independence from the govt of the day.
Can we expect the resignations of Gibb et al?

Suzanna doing that thing that feeds the racists. “but your tone Kevin! It suggests I’m a racist! I have genuine concerns!”
The first overhaul Labour needs to do is sort out the lies the media gush.

The trains are horrible.
I was on a Lumo east coast this weekend. The staff were great & no delays, but it cost £170 Scotland to KX (I couldn’t book 3 months in advance because I didn’t know my elderly Dad would need me) and my view was this former back of a luggage rack.

£170 Scotland to London return on #Lumo.
Never again.
I'll fly next time.
Or drive.

She wants to grow the economy a million percent… but doesn’t want the part of the economy that would benefit everyone (including industry and business) to grow a million percent. Right.

We are fucked as a species.
On one side of the planet, people fill small plastic bottles with harmful chemicals. On the other side of the planet, people buy these and use them to “improve” a region of their body that no one can see.

I only got a “C” in GCSE English, so can someone explain how dealing with something after it has happened is “proactive”?

This cunt can fuck off.
His and my parents put up with so much fucking shit when they came here.
Now he’s up the fucking Nazi’s arses? Does he know what they are saying about him and others with slightly more melanin? He’s a puppet and a twat.

Looking out at my wee garden and enjoying the early flowers.
Thinking about my neighbour’s garden where last year, they ripped out the mature pieris, rhododendrons, azaleas, camellias, and roses, and now they have a dog wee stained small lawn.
Each to their own.

This is an interesting article, but I am particularly struck by the steep fall in mortality when Labour got in (1997) and the rise when the Tories got in (2010).
Never vote Tory.

Because she is stupidly rich, hasn’t done a days draft in her life, and can afford expensive clothes, and make-up artists and hairdressers perhaps?

Condolences. Pets take a unique place in our hearts and it hurts when they go.
Here’s a homemade Christmas bauble that may cheer you up.
