It took me way longer to realize this than it should have.

The CRKD kit looks to me like a fusion of the Rock Band drums and the second generation Guitar Hero drums. And that's not a bad thing. The Guitar Hero drums were quieter and had more bounce. The issue was the awkward five lane layout.

I didn't like the first two, ut do have the third one on my shelf. I really ought to dig out the PS3 and give it a shot.

I'll also point out that the song filters include being able to filter for non-binary singers. Though I only know of one song in the entire library that has an enby singer.

It does not help that the tire place across the street from the office have been running a loud machine for hours on end while they're cleaning their garage.

I've noticed that a lot of us who transitioned a bit older sometimes hold less animosity towards ourselves pre-transition, while those who transitioned younger are more likely to have less favorable views on who they were.

Of course, I could be way off base on this.

Interestingly, the design seems like a fusion of the Guitar Hero drum design and the Rock Band design. It's got the Rock Band layout (four drum pads and three cymbals), but the frame and pad style look like Guitar Hero.

So the best of both worlds.

Losing my job came at the absolute worst time in April since I was going to ask to switch to injections (and for prog). But that's a whole different frustration.

Again, th8s is not a defense of Xbox or Microsoft. While I'm not going to get rid of the Xbox console or games I already own, I'm going to lean towards PC and PlayStation in the future and have long since determined that I have no reason to buy the next Xbox, even without MS's controversies.
