Very happy to have been honored at the 2025 LSE Impact Prize event!

I’ve won a Spark Award for Innovation, to study selection bias in recruitment for deliberative mini-publics.

Seen here with my SPP colleagues Richard and Finn, who also won — it was a good day for the LSE School of Public Policy!

Really glad to see this edited volume out! And huge thanks to Val, Ken, Tom, and Rachel for shepherding it post-pandemic.

I have a chapter on social media and elections!

Had an amazing time at the annual IE-Rochester Workshop in Political Economy (CLARECON)!

I presented work on deliberative online governance and Meta’s Community Forums.

See lineup of speakers in next post, really great set of papers.

This is your annual reminder that Jim Henson’s Tale of the Bunny Picnic is the best Easter movie ever.

It also has the most epic ballad + harmony in rounds song ever, SUNG BY BUNNIES, at 44:45:
