Made it to NYC to see the musical Chess. @andrewkopp.bsky.social and I performed this musical in high school back in 1992. This version's story was written by Danny Strong and we are just delighted with it so far! Much improved and such a treat!
Stage at intermission for the Broadway musical CHESS. The curtain across the stage is half American flag and half Soviet flag surrounded by a border of circle LED lights - red white and blue around the top and left side of the American flag and red and yellow around the top and right side of the Soviet flag. The show is sold out and people are moving around for a stretch at intermission.

The holes are intended for faces to peer through, not for whole heads to go into. The child’s head is stuck, so a man with a chainsaw is standing behind the child to free them from the wood board. This is actually a memory from the MN State Fair from maybe 1987-1989. The kid was fine, but certainly screamed throughout the ordeal. Was stuck for a good 20-30 minutes with several persons trying to help get his head back out of the whole before someone brought a chainsaw to get him out.
