Go ahead & Google me. It's probably all true.
Every Wednesday morning, me & my two friends Taras & Al will be on CBC Windsor Mornings with Amy Dodge, talking federal elections & local impact.

This morning was our first of four + the day after E-Day.
We talked tariffs, polls & candidate controversies.
Tune in!

Never thought I’d see the day when I would cringe at Wayne Gretzky being named Canada’s honourary captain.

Alas, we all reveal ourselves.

Canada doesn’t need to honour anyone who isn’t firmly on our side in this fight. Gretzky can sit on the sidelines.

Tough day today. But, one we couldn’t avoid. Should’ve happened months ago, imo.
I still believe in our democracy. And that it’s ours to choose a future for.

Thank you to PMJT for his leadership over the last decade. Politics is hard work.
Onward we go.

After 11+ years in open and online learning, tomorrow I begin charting a new course in my commitment to lifelong learning.
I’ve accepted a position at UWindsor with the groundbreaking team in Dr Narayan Kar’s CHARGE Lab, working on hybrid, EV & green energy tech.

My daughter and I share a life stage right now: we are both current students at UWindsor. Her in a Psych undergrad, me (forever) finishing my Master of Education.

She wrote her paper two days early.
Me? I’m hard procrastinating on my journal entry due Monday.

Sometimes apples land softer.

"...this is a minor investment to what it feels like to live in the community that invests in things like this." Investments in public spaces are worth it. They enhance well-being, they establish roots & identity & connection. Yes, even dugouts.
