I reconnected with a friend from preschool one year ago. We saw each other once since then, and exchanged messages maybe three times. This week, she found out I opened a bookstore, so she sent me a gorrrgeous, gigantic floral arrangement. 😭

Today was about getting books priced and on the shelves. Caribbean, Black, women, POC, and LGBTQI+ writers to the front! 💃🏽💖🌟

The pre-opening of Rabble! Bookshop is tomorrow. Hoping to see lots of people come through.

Tomorrow is the day, after years of a singular dream, that I open a bookstore. It's feminist, it's tiny, it's in an artist-run press, and it's on a tiny 21x7 mile rock.
