I have an ancient dumb cheap bosch washing machine but it does have a timer function - you can set it for 2,4, 6, 8 hours ahead. I didn't realise it had that function for ages. I suppose you could get a timer on the plug? But if it's behind the machine like mine that's a pain!

So many TikTok users moving over to Red Note (or Red Book) in China. Chinese and US teenagers learning each others' cultures/languages. I wonder if the US and Chinese governments were expecting this weird sociological experiment?
