I tend to do two types of info-dumping: dumping personal information in a bid for an exchange of vulnerability that can lead to emotional intimacy, and dumping intellectual info on a subject I’m fascinated by in hopes that the person I’m talking to will be equally entranced. Pleasure, not trauma.

You may be confused by something different to me, but i stumbled over the difference between ‘autism cannot actively disable a person,’ and ‘autism is not always actively disabling to a person.’ But, i have alexigrammaria. ( I made that up, but the it’s kinda true!)

It’s the pricing model used by the publishers. One user at a time, and with some publishers, only a limited number of uses before you have to pay for the same title, again. Libraries have no control over it, generally. The time length is the only thing they control.
