The fact that the renders for the models are from high quality scans of actual physical figures I think adds a lot charm but might be what's giving some people an "uncanny" feeling about it too

well going by the current listings on the encyclopedia, these two companies are noted as having worked on backgrounds for it. EOTA has a lot more entries on various shows so it's probably not them. Now the other company Ticknime is only credited on this show, which certainly makes them more suspect.

Same for the blue and blonde variant.

I take it you must be a big fan of the disgaea healers then, and some of the other support classes as well.
