Yeah perhaps? I just hope she learns from this situation and moves on. She handled the entire Ostapenko situation with such eloquence and maturity, so I thought she had grown as a person since those stories from last year. She had the potential to be the Rosa Parks of tennis.

Davenport’s past bout with racism (monkey off the back, beads)…..coupled with Hailey in on the shenanigans….I feel like Taylor might have been the victim here in terms of being enabled by those around her who are complicit or even conducive to this type of behaviour :/….Really bad look all around.

What’s really concerning is that Taylor made similar stories last year during the swing (refer to her IG post and caption from Beijing in Fall 2024). I wonder if the people around her previously never thought to bring it up to her that her comments may be offensive? I know Davenport is the leader.
