Awww I failed utterly at this in 2008. I met a Canadian kid Peter in Reykjavik and we hit it off and he wrote me a long letter with the rules and instructions for chess by hand, and his first move… I didn’t reply for sheer overwhelm 😂

Yes same! I’m not entirely sure how to play it… maybe like its twitter the 2008 edition and we just want to get to know each other, find out about interesting work and share and chat 😂
