Typical Hamburg weather for my 2 day trip to the city. I'm doing a seminar on personnel management in an office with views like this. Oh and I saw the lovely @translateuse.bsky.social for dinner last night, one of my first friends I made in HH back in 2013ish(?) 🤩

Also sewed up a bunch of kids beanies. I wanted to get ahead on prep for our local Christmas market (selling these to raise money for our garden) and I vastly underestimated how quick these are to make! I've made like 15 over the course of a couple of evenings

Spent the weekend camping at the Ostsee. Pretty successful overall but I am absolutely exhausted after crappy tent sleep. The campsite was fun, kiddo loved the beach, and I got to read my book. It was sunnier than it looks in the pic!

We had a birthday. I am sooooo overjoyed and simultaneously exhausted. Everything is lovely for my innocent and pure child. Long may she be as happy as she is now. I love her so much.

First day of the advent calendar today and my girl was very excited! I started sewing these bags about 3 years ago and this year I finally completed them all so it's the first time they're in use.

In other news, I baked these biscuits to donate to our local community Christmas fayre at the weekend. Nobody said the baked stuff has to be Christmas themed and these are always a huge hit with kids 🤩

Today my lovely neighbour and her daughter came round and we baked Plätzchen und waffles together. The kids had such a great time and played so nicely together. Afterwards we went to the playground together. Such a nice way to spend a Sunday, very thankful for having friends in the neighborhood!
