Sinosauropteryx prima

I recently took a course on scientific illustration in paleontology, and my final project was this little compsognathid I love so much.
I learned a lot, and I am very happy with the result.

Now onto more prehistoric babies <3

Sinosauropteryx prima, a small compsognathid from the lower Cretaceous of which we know its coloration, reddish brown with light beige stripes along its tail, more beige throughout the whole belly and a bandit's mask. It's looking at something outside the frame of the illustration, as if it was drinking from the lake in the bottom part of the drawing, but was interrupted by something else. Behind it, some vegetation grows between sand and rocks, until it reaches the edge of the forest.

Even before it was found, scientists expected some animal like Archaeopteryx to have existed, so here archaeopteryx stands in the middle, glowing, as if saying "I'm here! I existed! We are still around, in stone, and in the sky!"

Picolín and Picarín, an owlin rogue and a kenku bard, the first holding a needle ready to stab, red eyes glowing, and the latter playfully holding an instrument resembling an ukelele or lute. Picolín is light gray with darker spots splattered across his feathers, and Picarín is black, with a tinge of blue at the end of its tail feathers and elbows. Both of them wear cloaks, although where Picolín wears an almost black one, to fade into the shadows, Picarín wears a warm, lighter brown one.

Another day, another dinosaur. This time, it's the small but fast Velocisaurus unicus 💨
There aren't many specimens of this dinosaur so I went for the cartoony style to hide any anatomy mistakes xD

I got a book about theropods this Christmas, so I opened a random page and drew the first dinosaur on the page.

Sweet dreams, Giganotosaurus 💕
Giganotosaurus carolinii, the charcarontosaurus the size of a school bus, lazily taking a nap in a clearing in the forest, surrounded by fern and soft bushes. Dinosaurs this big are often more scary, but even beasts have sweet dreams.

Microraptor based characters for a d&d campaign I used to play.
They were a dragonborn and a whole dragon, but in my heart, they were dinosaurs, and my babies.
Also, turns out dinosaurs are kinda difficult to "humanize"
