Real talk, Steam is not a monopoly because they make no moves to drown out the multiple alternatives. Epic games sucks, GOG is odd, itchio is decent, etc.
I don't like glazing companies, but the competition exists and does fine, steam is just the best at being a games launcher and it's like that
