So this was the third stage of the painting. This is one of my first where I didn’t draw anything before. It’s all paint.

As you can see it’s starting to take shape.

Still quite a few to go before you see an up to date picture.

This is the stage 2 shot. Basic outline of what I envision the painting to be. Originally this was going to be just a swirling red and black mass, like looking down on a cyclone. But it changed a lot as I did the first wash.

I want to share something. Every couple of days I want to show a painting I’m doing. It’s called “The Pain”

It’s currently 1/4 done so it looks like a child has painted it.

But every other day I’ll post the shots I’ve taken of it. This is the first. It’s just a wash to start. Please be kind ☺️☺️
