Yikes! They are pretty resilient though and it is early in the season still. Good luck!

So, how much did this stunt cost us all? How many senators sitting waiting to get to work while she held up proceedings? If only she could be expected to reimburse the country.

Still scraping the sludge off the bottom of the barrel and pretending its policy. Not even new sludge!

Thanks for the alert... I had not heard of this. The State Library is a treasure!

The picture of the old, frail man jabbering away with the youthful, upright bloke looking composed is perhaps not the look the WH is going for.

About 5 years ago my NY resolution was not to buy any new clothes for the year. It was not a challenge at all. I do sew, which helped. I kept it going with a few exceptions (forgetting to pack PJs on a trip, sports bras, bathers...) challenge remains to source ethically produced fabrics.

I was surprised to hear there was a Vic opposition!
November 17, 2025 at 10:09 PM
Why would an opposition party get to decide if Australia stays with the Paris agreement? Surely that is an issue for the actual government? (What have I missed here... other than the LNP thinking they remain relevant)?

Epiphanies - minor or otherwise - are what gets PhDs finished! Enjoy the moment!

It is gross - in every real sense of the word. I coordinate a food relief pantry in central Vic - reliant completely on donations and good will to purchase food. This hoarding of money is obscene.

Late term abortions are deemed necessary by medical professionals... politicians politicking over such decisions are an abomination.

A heads up for anyone wondering about their immunity and lack of clarity about childhood vaccinations: next time you're having a routine blood check ask your GP to include testing of antibodies.
