Also, having served as a juror, type of employment makes a big difference; I, a teacher and fully paid, was happy to deliberate for as long as needed. The self employed or those not on full pay, understandably had more urgency to push on & reach a verdict quickly.

And those who do argue against this, usually the experienced ones, are managed out to ensure their silence.

Stopped me in my tracks. It's heartbreaking. Too much "othering" being allowed and amplified by the media.
