Overheard shopper ask friend if they had a tape measure; she needed something to fit a specific space. I leaned in: "If you have a paper bill, you can get close. They are just over 6 inches long (6.14)." They stared for a sec, then one of them looked it up and pulled out a bill.

Remember, in the olden times, when someone would post a random thought or funny little tale, just to make you think or possibly laugh out loud? That. I'm gonna try to do that. Because every now and again, I like to be heard, but I don't wanna' have to be all shouty about it.
