My thing with real grades is that I want them to at least look plausible standing beside the HGs that are more anime accurate, and 2.0 RX-78 really does not do that. It's just way too busy, ESPECIALLY with all of the decals.

I just need to complete my Unicorn collection and be able to pose up some pictures for the final battle. And if I don't have to break my bank to do it that'd be niiiiiice.

I will probably gobble up third party effect sets for fin funnels and the such, but that's probably a different category compared to whole models.

Every time there's been a Fire Emblem I don't like it's never the mechanics' fault. I can actually only think of one where the gameplay was actually a noticeable reason why I don't much care for it.

God what the hell happened with Lego prices. I know these are supposed to be premium display pieces but it's still just really shocking.

Most of the time you hear about it on the internet it's something like "Man, those fans are doing toxic positivity because they didn't want to hear me talk about how much I didn't enjoy their thing!"

The internet, in my experience, is also TERRIBLE at actually understanding toxic positivity. It's "Oh, I see you're upset. That's bad, so just DON'T be upset," which was basically all the advice I got for negative emotions growing up.

In my experience, if you're aware enough to be worried about something you're doing, you're probably still within acceptable limits, so to speak.

This is 100% of the reason why I have not learned to make chicken pot pie or curry despite them being two of my favorite meals.

I started making it for an easy but warm lunch when I got my own place, and then just stopped for a few years. Got a powerful craving for it over the holidays though, and I decided to start making it again.
