Forget chocolate advent calendars, this book is the true highlight of advent for me.
Every December for the last 30 years, my godparents have sent me an advent candle.
I now do the same for my godchildren.
This year, for his first advent, my son has one too, gifted to him by his godmother.
Long may this tradition continue.
