installed one of my "specture" works, "bilby shimmer" at the gallery for the PROCESS.ED group show at Articulate Project Space in Sydney

explores putting extinct bilbies onto the blockchain. they build new habitats & landscapes in the digital world. we can see their view via the bowl/projection

tried a few 3d prints: larger 'wallabye' representing the 3 extinct species of wallabies in NSW + a plastisphere creature (would suit glass)

+participating in #genuary this year - a code based generative art drawing (almost) each day in January. posting them on tw & insta mainly + some on rodeo

enjoying this book: "Bodies of Water" by Astrida Neimanis ::: continuing the lines of thought of body as water/embodiment through to posthuman & anthropocene. mentions of Haraway, Braidotti, Grosz, Deleuze in first chapter, bodes well.

enjoying this book: Computational Formalism - Art History and Machine Learning by Amanda Wasielewski. covers digital humanities and the need for both art historians voices / input when analysing art works via machine learning algorithms (at least in first chapter, reading WIP) #readingroom
