I just hate the people that are always “oh no someone is sitting on the curb they’re going to bring down the property value!” and never “oh no they have nowhere to go and must be cold and having a hard time the least I could do is be kind in whatever brief interaction we may have”

I’m so sick of hearing how “unsafe” all these older wealthy people feel in town, like I’m in a bit higher on the vulnerability scale than some of these dudes and yet I’ve never felt unsafe being downtown at night. they think someone politely asking for change is terrifying
