So tough to find people, especially in the summer. Have you asked the authors for more potential names? Sometimes they know people in the field who are hard for the rest of us to find (and have more names beyond their original list)

Think about timing - our grad application deadline is in Dec so I am unlikely to be thinking seriously about new students in the spring semester. Early fall is ideal as I build towards that deadline. And if you apply after the deadline that’s not going to work…
