It takes a particular type: not into money; very idealistic; someone who sees service as ennobling and believes in governance and rule of law.

Remember, Musk is hiring based on loyalty and unscrupulousness exclusively. None of the fascists taking over our government are public servants; they have contempt for public service. They’re private-sector lackeys who want money, power and access. They do as told. They serve Musk and/or themselves.
