I am not a psychologist or therapist but I have a fairly good handle on it. The PTSD comes from SA which was compounded by their alcoholism. My friend has been sober for 5 years but I see a lot of BPD behaviors as well.

I agree Kyle, it is great to have multiple interests. That’s what makes us unique. People crap on those that aren’t afraid to share their thoughts and feelings. You have an ally here.

I think it’s too all encompassing. I ask because I have a friend that is diagnosed as BPD with PTSD and she is off her meds. I am trying to help her get back onto the correct path.

That is what I was getting at. I was only exposed to the DSM IVR in college.
