"Earth's Mightiest Heroes" was very much an adaptation of the classic Silver/Bronze Age Avengers with only a handful of token nods to the Bendis Era, and even the MCU Avengers were basically a family friendly version of Mark Millar's Ultimates.

I am convinced that American Evangelicals are, in their heart of hearts, secret Manichean dualists. They believe Satan is an evil Anti-God who is only marginally less powerful than the 'real' god.
